This breezy cotton tunic is a new favorite. It's from MarketPlace, a fair trade, not-for-profit group that offers Indian women an opportunity to sell their products and make a meaningful living. The tunic actually curves in at the waist, has perfect pockets and can be machine washed and worn without ironing. Oh, yes, no ironing for an all-cotton blouse! I'm wearing it for a casual work look here, but it would be cool with white jeans, or over a swimsuit.
I added just a basic camisole, my black pencil skirt (Laundry) and ankle booties (Soft). I feel visible and comfortable, and very "me".

ReplyDeleteGreat tunic! It reminds me a lot of the Indian tunics I'm always admiring in the thrift store. I've bought a couple, but I wind up not wearing them because they don't fit my style. I love how you layered it with a skirt! Great idea.

ReplyDeleteCute tunic! I never iron anything, so that style is perfect for me. That's part of the reason I dress so casually, I guess, but even when I worked outside the home as a therapist, most of my suits were knit and never needed ironing. :)
