Both pieces are thrift finds; the wool skirt is Banana Republic from a couple of years ago. The cotton shirt is by Lauren Ralph Lauren, whose shirts I adore for the great fit and fabric. A chestnut belt and Tsubo booties give some contrast.
| The bedroom curtains are not so wild and crazy as the living room! |
| My gorgeous boy King is ready for a long day of securing the bed. "I'm in charge here." |
Happy, happy Thursday!
Paisley is such a fun print, and this blue top is gorgeous! Your kitty is adorable and so long. He looks like a happy camper :) Heather
ReplyDeleteBy everything I have seen lately, paisley is returning as a big trend (once again). You look perfect in this chic, stylish look ....which is right on trend!! Since the weather is cold right now, our cat Madeleine is kind enough to let us share the bed with her!!
ReplyDeleteI did a post on paisley today, too! I love this look on you! Great thrift store finds!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in that shirt. Great finds!

Patti! This is one gorgeous outfit! Love the shirt and yes, everything looks with a black pencil skirt!
ReplyDeleteKing looks very much at home on your bed!!
Have a wonderful and dry weekend! We're expecting snow this weekend here in N. GA. :)
Gorgeous shirt!! Love how you accented with chestnut brown!
ReplyDeleteKing is quite the handsome fellow!!
I have a paisley skirt I've been wearing like crazy! I agree on the black pencil skirt-- it is a staple item for me. Love Banana Republic-- especially the 80s stuff when they were totally safari style :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit - classic and modern!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: how do you store your good woolen stuff (like your skirt)? We are struggling with the annual tragedy of pulling out the wool coats and sweaters to find that the moths etc have been at them. We've tried cedar, lavender, airtight bags... The one thing I refuse to do is breathe moth ball fumes, but have you come up with any alternatives?
It's crazy to keep buying stuff when we only need warm clothes for about 2 weeks a year!
Great paisley print but your head is cut off.
ReplyDeleteLove your paisley shirt. I agree, RL shirts fit wonderfully well. You kitty is so cute.
ReplyDeleteYour paisley pattern blouse is fabulous! I love paisley pattern in every color or fabric, when I find a piece with this pattern I can never say no. Your boots are gorgeous too, I like how they echoing the belt.
ReplyDeleteSome days I want to be a cat, living with a caring cat lady provided.
Great finds, especially the Lauren blouse, and the paisley is so pretty. Mm, come to think of it, I love paisley but don't think I have anything except a thriftier PJ top - maybe could wear it as a blouse?
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest. Today I visited because I wanted to see King the Cat. And he is a glorious, handsome beast. Please tell him I said so. But, I stayed because of the paisley. Paisley is a beautiful print and the colours in your shirt are just my thing. Vibrant hues, I love it. Very nice shade of polish today also. And...your bed frame is very cool.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a wool A line skirt from Banana Republic, must have it hemmed as it is below my knees (not a good look). Love your paisley shirt! Very bold and colorful.

Fantastic outfit, Patti! Love your accessories, especially the giant cat, who looks like a champion lounger. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're a lucky girl! I am often attracted to the fabric in RL things but they never fit me very well and I they're too pricey to buy just to hang in my closet. The blouse is a winner.
ReplyDeleteHe's gold medal caliber!
ReplyDeleteKing is great yet humble : >
ReplyDeleteGreat classic look, but we miss you sweet face

The brown accessories really take this look to the next level. It's that kind of pairing I wish I could make - it just looks so sharp and chic.
ReplyDeleteAlso brb need to cat-nap your gorgeous kitty! What a ham!
Oh, kitty kitty kitty! What a lovely boy he is. I love how they just own wherever they are.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blouse, Patti!
This is the year I've found out how great blues and browns work together. And here they are, with you looking pretty in them! So important to have a responsible cat that you can count on to keep the bed from running away ...he looks so happy.
ReplyDeleteNice shirt Patti, lovely colors and pattern
ReplyDeleteBoy King is so cute and yes mine do the same securing the bed
Have a great weekend!

I want your cat! (or any cat, really. I'm very cat-deprived...).
ReplyDeleteAnd can we see your smiling face back again, please? Lovely outfit, but it'd look nicer with a head on top of it, I think. :)
Cheers,
EJ
Both you and King look so fit!
ReplyDeleteClassic and funky at the same time; well done!! I love the shade of blue in the shirt.
ReplyDeleteThat blue looks good on you- and like it with the black. Cat. Hi King! Purr purr!
